Native to coastal Brazil and the Caribbean, The Heart-Leaf Philodendron (Cordatum heartleaf), commonly called the Sweetheart Vine due to its heart-shaped leaves, is an easy grow, great beginner houseplant. No specialty care needs required here, this houseplant is notoriously hard to kill and fast growing as long as it's placed in a well-lit spot. Heartleaf Philodendrons are versatile and will love whatever pot you place it in; whether hanging or climbing. These plants symbolize abundance, love and good health and teaches us forgiveness and adaptation, as they can survive long periods without water. However to keep your Sweetheart Vine happy, water about once per week.
